It constantly amazes me how people who should know better expose themselves and others online using these so called social networks. Thinking that no one is watching every interaction and recording every communication.

The U.S. government, with assistance from major telecommunications carriers, has engaged in a massive program of illegal dragnet surveillance of domestic communications and communications records of millions of ordinary Americans since at least 2001.

AT&T actualy has a fiberoptic splitter copying data directly to the NSA, here is the proof.

The issue is not whether you are paranoid, the issue is whether you are paranoid enough.
