It has only become apparent to me within the last 48 hours that the content of my emails had taken on a rather strange tone, which I will now attempt to explain.
To try and further my own understanding I played the Cycle on a 15 minute 28 second loop, while wearing a noise isolation headset. I am not certain but have the feeling that somehow the Cycle enhanced mismatch brain response thus altering my binaural word presentation, resulting in a very 'unconventional' use of language within all of my written communications. But without current access to an Electroencephalograph machine to test my hypothesis this just remains a theory.
The effect does now appear to have dissipated.
This is why I like you Marcus. You recognize that there's no reward without risk.
ReplyDeleteThis balls-to-the-wall attitude has served me as well. I say this even though I, too, have suffered temporary lapses in sanity over the years as a result. The suffering and danger is entirely worth it.
This is the only way to live.
